Discover the world in Sherman

The Hispanic Heritage Festival takes place every September on the Municipal Lawn near the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. There, you'll find traditional music and dance presented by visiting artists; booths, games, and children's activities; and amazing Latino foods prepared by local vendors and restaurants.

African American heritage is honored each June at the annual Juneteenth celebration, which starts with a parade in Downtown Sherman.

Celtic traditions are celebrated in April at Sherman's annual Celtic Festival & Highland Games, with some music events taking place in Downtown Sherman, plus a few Highland favorites on the menu at local pubs!
