Downtown Sherman NOW, a nonprofit organization focused on downtown Sherman revitalization, presents two annual events that feature fantastic food and Texas-made wines, as well as live music, art, and loads of fun.

The 2nd annual Sherman Showdown--Food Truck Competition is set for May 9, 2026, featuring the best  bites from a lineup of creative food vendors.

 

2025's Stroll on the Square wine-tasting event was held October 4. A VIP wine tasting night and the Wine Stroll event showcased Texas' bountiful wineries, along with a "Taste of Texoma" food pairing at each wine stop. Local bands played live in three locations throughout the evening.
